Our property management services are catered to the property owner who resides outside of the corridor or the owner who cannot attend to their property. Mountain Country is a full service property management firm providing financial, operating and administrative management for our owners and their tenants.
Services
Our property management services can be distinguished into two categories, Annual leases and Seasonal leases. Seasonal leases are typically 4 to 6 month terms through the winter or the summer.
Services
We place an emphasis on tenant screening. Our services include advertising, open houses, property documentation, lease preparation, collections, and maintenance coordination throughout the tenancy.
Clients
Our clients include property owners of condos, townhouses and single family homes throughout Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton. We also oversees the management of resident restricted multi-unit dwellings and corporate employee accommodation.
Licensing
Property owners have assurances their property is appropriately managed. Mountain Country and its managers are licensed and bonded in accordance to the Real Estate Services Act of BC. All rents and deposits are processed through regulated Trust accounts.
Team
Our team includes licensed property managers, in-house accounting, fully equipped maintenance personnel, all located in our commercial office in Whistler's Function Junction.

Regulations
Landlords and their Tenants in British Columbia have duties which are regulated by the Residential Tenancy Act of BC.

Insurance: Property owners should notify their insurer the property is being rented on a long term basis.

Licensing: In British Columbia, managers of long term rentals must be licensed in accordance to the Real Estate Services Act of BC.

Non-Residents of Canada: Mountain Country can act on behalf of non-resident property owners as their non-resident agent for tax purposes.

Whistler Housing Authority (Employee Restricted Housing): The Whistler Housing Authority provides affordable living for employees of Whistler. This includes 11 locations of multi-unit rentals.
